Step 1:
The engine’s crankshaft rotates when the driver switches into drive and applies the accelerator. This revolution raises the fluid pressure inside the torque converter, which transmits engine power to the input shaft of the transmission.

The system tracks a number of parameters as the car accelerates, such as engine RPM, throttle position, and vehicle speed.
